Bud don't you just pop out the rivets holding the horn on. Then take a 2.5 hole drill bit and make some holes in the canister.

Is a very helpful DSMer (and so is Bud.....sometimes j/k)

I plan on removing that star shaped silencer, but actually I didn't take it out yet. The gasket looks like it's made of cork, so it's probably paper. The manual says replace it. I went to Advance today and the guy treated me like a jerk off just because his inept ass couldn't find the part in the computer. NAPA didn't have it either.

I still can't believe napa and Advance don't have this $2 gasket. Maybe they just don't like me because I'm young.

And I do plan on removing that snorkel and popping a few holes in that filter cover. EGR and VC vac line w/catch can is next on my list.

Knows you could just buy a peice of flat quork, and cut it out yourself..As for removing the canister I thought they just came off..I didn't know you had to drill out the rivits..But it that's what It takes I'd definatly do it..
