Knows I was wondering if a modified 2G suspension could handle Rallycross?

Should expand on what type of suspension mods

I've read and been told that the double wishbone suspension's fork that splits around the front axles can't handle the harshness of stage rally. A catastrophic failure occurs fairly quickly.
You might be able to get away with rallycross in a 2g. We have all sorts of cars that survive. Ford Focuses, Audi A4, Volvo T5, VW Jettas, Chevy Beretta, just to name a few that were never intended to go in the dirt.

Definitely be prepared for some extra wear and tear. More so than autocross IMO.

Is right about getting a 1g for rallycross. The stocks have a lot more travel than than the 2g.
