Hey guys, I'll be moving there in 2 weeks. So you will be seeing a new DSM roaming the streets. LOL

where area in sd are you going to be moving to? looking forward to seeing a new dsm around

That's cool. When and what part of SD are you moving to. Still might be kinda far from where I live. But worth the drive to meet another DSM'er. You should check out the 619 post if you're moving to 619 area. We meet up at In N Out at National City on Sundays around 10:00 p.m. We're a bunch of guys around your age, so it might be fun to check out. Is'nt there another Bigglesworth? The one with a black 2g Talon.

I'll be moving down there June 25th so I can start working on the 27th. LOL I will be living near Qualcomm stadium.

There is ONLY ONE BIGGLESWORTH!! I have the black talon too. haha

Hey, I kinda figured that. But I checked your profile and didnt see any pics of it. Still got it?:sneaky: You probably have more experience with DSM's so maybe you can help me out when I need help with things:coy: . Be sure to hit us up when you get down here. :thumb:

Hye moses did you get that link I sent you for the boost leak tester with the psi gauge on it? Its sick huh. Me and Felix went out and got the same exact parts and its looks pretty identical to the one on the site. Anyway I just installed my new KN cone filter and after that my car idles bad. Any ideas? Everything is hooked up right but still confused why my car idles like crap.

Did you make sure to plug in that harness that goes in to the MAF sensor?

Is the filter installed properly?

Did you unplug the battery for any reason?

I'm still somewhat far from San Diego but atleast your not a Journey away instead just a small drive down the freeway.

I had a similar problem the first few times I unpluged the maf harness. I think it just needs time to recalibrate.

Now there is no excuse for you to come visit me. Ive been to your house a million times and I have yet to see you come over. Sushi mang, we need to get sushi!!!

we actually forgot to connect the maf back in when we put on the filter but then realized it wasnt on, but apparently it stills idle weird. and no the battery wasnt disconected.

Did you guys remove any of the "honeycombs" from the maf sensor? Are all vac lines connected to their proper places? Is the bov still recirculated?

Yeah the honeycombs were gone when I purchased the car. But It was idleing fine for the last year, all I did was upgrade the filter to a KN instead of the cheap ebay one. It actually idles fine for 15 minutes and after that its about to die on me everytime I stop. Thinking about putting on the ebay one till I figure something out or thinking about pulling the sensor out for the night and see if that helps. Hey Bigglesworth you know how to do a complete boost leak test? The guys from totaleclipse says they are going to to it to my car tomorrow if you guys wanna come and chill but I haven't got a call from them though so I'm not relying on it.
