same make, close to same model?

so here it is i bought a '98 3000gt vr-4, =917hp. then bought a '98 3000gt mr,=836hp. the only differance is one i tuned at HKS the other at Trial,did oil change on both before i drove them. thats an 81 hp differance, and i think the mr's faster. 1/4 mile 9.276. haven't run the vr-4 yet. i'll let you know.
so anybody else notice stuff like this?

what years were they? same? and i'm thinking mileage has something to do with it too.

well i ran both 3000gt's and the vr-4 is faster but not by much. have to do more tuning. forgot to check weight though, i'll do that later.
anybody see a '99 3000gt yet in the game?
and i must have missed this at one point, but the evo 7 gt-a. whats the "a" stand for? and i haven't seen any gts's are there any?

IRL,

A 98 VR4 is going to weigh less than a 95 VR4 because they dont have the active aero system.

Also, the MR is the lightweight version in Japan and the MR has closer gearing. It is well known that the weight and gearing makes the MR considerably faster than a normal VR4 (or GTO as they call it in Japan).

Stock MR's run 12.9 or better usually while the stock GTO can only pull about a 13.5.


Just some RL fact to back up some of what is going on

well my guess is that the vr-4 i bought had 6 miles on it, and i tuned it at Mine's, and i did an oil change to it before i drove it. so there you go 917hp.

once again i'm saying sorry, well i was wrong i didn't tune it at Mines, so i must have tuned it at ralli/art, plus the oil change. still 917hp of kick your a$$ and leave you in the dust.

ok i was messing around with the '89 and '98 fairlady z tuned both at blitz and oil changed, the '89 z has 768hp and the '98 has 856hp. both are z32 bodys. and as for the 350z car their rather sorry in this game, other than the option z, the next in hp is the nismo z-tuned 350z car at about 645hp.

sorry i'm not a honda guy, no really i'm not. but i was messing w/ nsx's and for '04 acura and honda, they give the acura 13 more hp. but when fully tuned the honda has almost 20hp more. and they have acura in with the japan auto makers. but you can't take an acura to the tuner village. WTF
