safe or not?

i was woundering if u dont have really good compression and burn a little oil would it still be safe to slap a turbo kit on at really low boost for like 5 months until i can afford a complete rebuild?if i do the piston rings should be fine forsure then right? thanks

If I were you I'd wait untill you rebuilt the motor especially if you can do it within the next 5 months or so.....and if you build the bottom end then you need to freshen the head up too or it may fail because to bottom is stronger

your good. just replace your rings first. compression should be much better and you can slap on the turbo. also used a drill hone attachment to resurface the cylinder bores while you got the block apart.

if you take off the head you will need new head bolt because the 2gnt head bolt's are one time only tourqe bolt's
