SAFCII Tuning

ok i just recently instaleld my apexi safcII and now the car runs like crap, obiviously because i havent tuned it. problem is i dont know all that much about how to tune it so anyone here that can help, im running stock except for a apexi world class exhaust 3", stock downpipe, greddy type s BOV,weapon r intake filter but no pipe yet, any help on how to tune it cause the car bogs like crazy right now, settings please thanks in advance

What is it that the car is doing exactly?

when i give it gas it bogs for a while, about 1.5 sec and then will start accellerating normally, its acts as if i were venting to the air and had the maf plug unplugged

Are you running rich? Can you see black smoke from the exhaust?

yes i am running rich and i see a bit of black smoke coming out at higher rpms around 3-5k

Adjust the fuel trims on the AFC lower. It should fix your problem.

where would that be in the safc, i dont know all that much about it, i know what it does and what it can do but i dont know how to get it to do all of that, im still in the learning ranks of dsms

and i also just realized that im not getting an air flow signal to the safc either, it stays at 0.0% no matter what, any idea what could be causing this?

That is a guide for tuning a piggyback ecu (safc).

Tuning is not your problem.

It sounds like the S-AFC is installed wrong, I would triple check all the wiring.

ok i checked all the wiring and everything is set up correctly, and still getting nothing from the air gauge, i have no clue why
