ive been researching and havnt came up with an answere and i may have just been missing something so if this has been posted somewhere before please tell me...
well the story is when i push my pedal to the floor the safc reads usually around 75 to 80% tps.... i tightened up the throttle cable as much as possible and when i pushed it to the floor it was still the same.. if i push with massive force i can get it to 100% but i would rather not have to slam my leg through the floor.. soo my questiontion is does it need adjusted or something?

First, the SAFC scales the % based on the highest and lowest voltages it's seen.
Second, the ECU doesn't really care if the TPS ever reads 100%, it's more interested in the change in output from one second to the next. On a 2G the TPS much be adjusted to set the point where the internal IPS switched from closed to open telling the ECU that the throttle has opened. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/660531-post4.html

The actual voltage spec at that point is huge and only used to decide if the TPS is bad.
How far the throttle butterfly opens and the max TPS reading is a mechanical question. As long as the cable is correctly adjusted for the slack when the throttle is closed, the pulley assembly for the cruise control also adjusted for correct slack, and there is nothing under the pedal keeping it from going all the way, there is nothing else you can do about what the TPS reads at WOT.
