SAFC Setup Questions

Im installing 660 denso's & brian cower 280's wih beehive dual valve springs with a mild port on a non eprom 1g laser. What kind of maps should I use to set up a decent drivable tune on it?

Also what exactly is karman?

Carman is trhe design of our mass air flow sensor. Now as far as a base tune I coudnt tell you. Every motor is different so its going to be hard for anybody tell tell you your base tune.

first off I wouldn't start tuning yet until you get some kind of wide band sensor in their to measure AFR's and a Karman is the maf sensor A Karman votex maf sensor you will need to select that one in the setup screen.

alright but any ways I ended up with about -30% fuel for trim with any thing below 30% throttle and arond 25-30% more fuel above %50 throttle of course I was running %30 e85 in my setup. and these were on fic 650cc injectors on a 2g maf witch I ran. the 2g maf I found had much better drivability than the stocker. good luck remember get the wide band first!!

Thanks guys, sorry I didnt mention the mods, I do have a wideband. MBC, Exhaust, and a 14b. Boost gauge & oil pressure gauge going in soon. My friend ran these cams on his laser but it had megasquirt & he is kinda worried about it hving trouble starting? Why would that be? They arent too big are they? (Cams)

Okay so we installed the head & injectors cams and its is having trouble staying running. Has a bad misfire, plugs are gapped at .30 all plug wires are secure my buddie thinks maybe the lifters are causing the valves not to close all the way because it is running horribly.

At first I had stock 450's and didn't adjust safc when installed the head and 660's so I put it at -20 across the board for high & low throttle that helped some but still has a misfire. Please help!
