safc help!! car running like crap.

i installed my SAFC a few days ago, ever since i installed it, the check engine light went off, i was happy about that but the story didn´t end there. Im pretty sure that i hooked up everything correctly the pink wire closer to the ECU and the orange wire to the remaining ECU harness. My injectors are the stock 450 ones, i got some RC 550 sitting right now, but im waiting my logger to tune. The problem is that my Karman is reading 3 Hz all the time, it doesn´t go up or down like apparently its supposed to be. The safc is Zeroed, though i setted up the low throttle to 30% and the high one to 80%, i selected karman, 4 Cyl, arrow up, Etc. but the car runs like crap. I feel like at 4k im hitting redline. i checked my Maf, and its plugged in, also as i said earlier the connections for the SAFC are fine. what could it be? thanks

if your hz reading is at 4hz all the time, that is your problem. Did you cut the mas wire in half and hook the part going to the actual mas to the orange wire and the wire to the ecu to the pink? Your acf isn't getting the signal from mas. Double check for good connections.

If you did splice the cable as mentioned above. well you might have a defective unit. My friend bought a crappy Safc. wich will have the TPS signal jumping from 0-20% to 96-100%. It never was smooth. We thought it was the TPS, but after testing it with another Safc it wasn't. Now he has an SAFC-2 and it works great!
