safc extention cord??

well.. my friend had an safc in his civic, ity was stolen 2 weeks ago the car was recovered... long story short they for got to take the safc that they yanked out.
my friend now has a pirus and wnats nothing to do with it so he gave it to me...
im sure it still works but theres only a foot of the cord comming from the safc, can i just use any other wires to connect to the safc ones? the rims are still on the car.. so if anyone needs civic si rims i could give you his number

Just open the ends up some and solder on some longer wires.
Try to get the same gauge tho.

On page seven of the price list there is a harness available for the afc ($25.40). You may want to contact apex directly to see if you can use it.
