Ok i installed my SAFC 2 tonight and went through all of the set up and all, but then i got to the Knock correction, and it made me just scratch my head. I understood how to set it, i just dont understand what its correcting. I mean.... If i have ZERO knock on my pocketlogger at 1600rpm's, then why am i getting like 63 on the safc? someone please help me understand this feature!

I hope you didn't buy a version II just for that, it's useless.

What your doing is training the SAFC as to what the normal noise from the knock sensor is and then it compares that baseline to when it hears later and decides the differences are knock. I didn't even bother to hook the wire up, that how usefull it is.

Well that sucks if its that useless... so now that i set it to like 63, thats its "zero" now? thats just stupid, they should have a "zero out" feature or something of that nature. I didnt just buy it for the Knock.. i got it for the 12 points, and i REALLY love the black one. It just looks so sick sittin on my sterring column.

There has to be of some good use for this feature though.... i dont see why Apex'i would put it on there for shits and giggles.
