I swapped over all my parts from the 1G to the spyder last week. I got the AFC wiring done and started it up to tune in the low throttle settings on the AFC.

I am using OBD guage to monitor STFT and LTFT. I wait to get up to temp and the o2 starts to cycle normally. This is when I expect to have to lean it out because it's running rich but it's not. I didn't even have to adjust the AFC 1% it was perfect zeroed out. How the heck is that possible???? Now it's got me thinking I don't even have 550's....I bought them (Lucas 550) from slowboy for my 1G more than a year ago.

I am waiting till spring to drive it because the suspention is all apart but I'm expecting I'll need to lean it out at higher rpms and under load.

Does anyone have 550's in a 2G that can shed some light on this????

im on 550's on a FPBigT-28 and my 1000K is -6% going to -8 thru -10mids to highs...

Maybe it has to do with the 2g maf, it does let in more air. Then again, I don't know shit about tuning, so take that for what its worth.

CanadianTsi is correct. I wouldn't worry about it as long as you are close. Although the math associated with injector compensation is solid, most of the time it's application is not. I'm running pretty close to the same trims as CanadianTsi, -10 to - 13% with 650's.

All we really car about is WOT tuning. :sneaky:

So, I say......Drive on! :thumb:

Thanks for the input! I am assuming it's all good, I just got to thinking and I could have a vaccum leak causing it to run lean at idle.... I'll check it out.

That is a good idea just to be sure. Double check for any leaks between the metering device (MAS, MAF-T) and the front O2 as that will throw the fuel trims off. Also a WB O2 would be a great investment for tuning.

Hi Friend Can I ask you the LB's of Boost you run it? Is because I have a turbonetic t3/t4, @ 20 lb I set up the (Apex SAFC I) to (1000 @ -15%) (1500 @ -13%) (2000 @ -10%) and -8% the rest, for me works and i get the best time ever. But was some more factors involved:

--- 1. The Fuel pumps I have one walbro 255lpm in tank and a second fuel pump a Venom 100 gpm in line. @ 40psi to 63psi of fuel. is a bit lean EGT runs on 800 c (Greddy).

--- 2. Was with High octane Gas (VP) C-116 .

--- 3. Mine was automatic AWD.

--- 4. With 2G mas sensor.

1. fuel pumps i have one walbro in tank and one bosh/venom100gpm in line. Im runing on 40psi --> near 60-63 psi of fuel. is a bit lean (cough) EGT runs on 800 c

2. I run it with VP 116

3. Mine was in this time automatic awd, 2G mas sensor and on sea level.
