Safc 1 hookup?

i recently ordered an safc 1 (original blue screen setup with directional buttons and prev. and next button) And it has one thick wire coming out of it with a harness connected at the end. The colors of the wires going to that harness are grey,white,blue,orange,yellow,green,black, and red. Am i suposed to just plug this harness in somewhere, or or am suposed to undo the harness and tap every single wire in?

Not sure what you mean by there being a harness. Is there a connector at the end of this harness? Here's a link to a wiring diagram for a safc2 im sure the wiring is the same. The safc2 may have one or more extra wires compared to the safc 1.

Yo man,
Looks like you got jipped on the harness length, It should be a plug coming off the AFC, with a plug into it, basically extending the wiring harness...........its still ok though.......
You might have to extend the wires with your own wire.............anyways, its a snap man,
