Ok, I had Big plans for my 95 Talon Tsi, and i had an safc 2 wired up, but decided to get rid of it before i got injectors for it. The car is mainly stock, except for and intake. The Safc2 is all connected, but because i didnt get larger injectors it was never tuned, (it doesnt help the car at all, it just monitors) And since im selling it, and its not doing anything i took it out. Then when i started the car later that day, it ran like crap, it wouldnt idle right, and at idle if i gave it some gas it would bog down very bad, and almost shut off. I put the safc2 back in (i kept it wired in, just unplugged the conector closest to the Safc2) and it ran fine. Than i disconneceted it again, and than ran like crap. put it Back in, and everything was fine.. My question is; if the SAFC2 isnt even tuned (making no corrections) than why when i take it out does it make a difference? how can i stop that from happening?
