I have heard of people using their AFC's to help them pass the 'dyno style' emissions test. What exactly do you have to do (leaner)? and specifically effecting how much of the hydrocarbon? or does the a/f ratio effect a different type of emittant like the NO's?

I have high hydrocarbon #'s which is greatly effected by the cat, i was told with 3" exhaust the flow is too high which does not produce enough friction within the converter to make the necessary amount of heat to work properly. Has anyone had this problem with 3"?
Thanks for the help
