Alright i am soon to be getting a 78 corrolla - and to be blunt the best motor i can think of for it is the 3.35x3.46 DOHC MPFI 4G63T. Now i know they put a sohc verison of these engines in the mighty max and dodge 50 trucks BUT can i use that drive train?

I need to find a stong enough trans to hook to a 92 6 bolt turbo motor making 300hp at the crank.

I also would prefer a stick because the corolla i found is a 5 speed. (oh btw its in CRAZY perfect condition! joy:D )

so any ideas guys i did some searching on the fourm uner the this section for rwd. and rear wheel srive and nothing came up at all in regauds to what i am looking for. will the 4g63t bolt to a rwd trans and what trans is that.

thanx guys. :thumb:

call slowboy racing, I believe they are the ones who made a rwd dsm. Also, buschur made a rwd conquest using the 4g63.

I have a picture of the rwd 1g, but its on my other computer, so it will have to wait until I can finally move all my files over and everything. I know I've posted that pic on this site before, but don't remember where. Either way, that buschur site should be good enough.

You have got to be kidding! There are 123 threads in the drivetrain forum for RWD! We do not need another one...

This is one of the more useful threads on this subject:
