Runs well at idle doesnt when you rev it

Check this video out. especially at :40 seconds. 1990 talon tsi - YouTube When you drive the car, it feels like its missing or something just isnt right. If you give it so much gas it kinda backfires and bucks but keeps going. Im lost as to what is going on with it. Mechanical timing Is dead on. Any and all support s much appreciated. The car does have a terrible exhaust on it. Im sure there are thousands of exhaust leaks

Figured out the battery is trash on it and so is the exhaust fixing those will probably clear the problems up

Too much backfiring also means you could be running lean
