I just rebuilt the top end on my 90 6-bolt, using a 2g head. I do not have spark in any of the cylinders. I noticed that my car does not have the ignition power transistor, but I do not remember it ever having one. Is it possible that it could have been running without one, or did I most likely misplace it, or loose it, switching intake manifolds? Thanks.

After a buddy and I spent an hour trying to start my 92 I just bought and rebuilt we discovered this also. You'll get power to the coils but no signal to tell them when to fire.
