sup guys, so last night I changed my radiator and pulled out my a/c condenser and everything went good and I filled up the coolant and everything looked normal. Then when I went to get some food I noticed that anytime im cruising at speeds above 20 mph my wide band is reading afr's to be about 12.3 and im not even hitting boost. Then I came to a stop and while idling it slowly made its way to 14.7 and was normal again so then I went to drive again and its still fluctuating around 12.3:cry: The only way it stays around 14.7 while driving is in first gear at about 3500 rpm's. Also when I hit boost it doesn't go rich like it used to since it already is running rich im assuming.

Also I wanted to add that I had to take off my intake pipe and I started my car with the intake pipe off to move it back a few feet to make more room and obviously the car was shuddering and having a bad idle but I shut it off in like 30 seconds. Could that be why its running rich while driving all of a sudden?

Make sure there are no air boost leaks and make sure your maf is plugged in also disconnect your battery and reset ecu. Feel free to fill out your profile with your mods if you have any.

ill try disconnecting my battery when I get home from work.

Also my maf is plugged in I checked that first LOL

I wanted to add I fixed a leak in my waste gate dump tube while while I had the radiator out so could that be why im seeing it run super rich. I understand that its like an exhaust leak so maybe thats why I saw it reading leaner since exhaust gasses were escaping and now its completely sealed so its reading rich? :hmm:

More or less I was refereing to the intercooler piping for leaks, not so much the exhaust leaks.

ok so yesterday I took off all my intercooler clamps and re tightened all of them and made sure there were none leaking. I also disconnected my batt for about 3 hours to reset everything but obviously didnt work -_-

Today I got a check engine light so I went and got it read and the code was 0170 (Fuel Trim Bank 1)

So I bought a can of maf cleaner and cleaned out my maf and made sure everything was nice and clean but its still running super rich. Could it just be that by coincidence my o2 sensor crapped out while I was changing my radiator? If anything ill try buying another o2 sensor and see if that is my
problem. :(

ok so today I found another thing

While cruising on the highway if I let off the gas and when my wb shows the '- - -' if I reallllyyyy slowly press the gas and hold it there it stays near 14.7 but once I let off and back on it jumps to 12.2 again :(

RESOLVED

changed front o2 sensor and its good again :thumb:
