car a 94 eclipse non turbo rebuild 4g63 6bolt 2g head wit custom intake mainfold 3in intake and bbp 4 2 1 racing headers wit test pipe 3in exhaust. here ### happen goin to work i had a car riding my tail i push the car to 6rpm and the pop out of second and then car check engine light came on i got it home the next day and saw i was running on cylinder 1 and 4 2 and 3 no spark. i replace the plugs, wires and coil pack check the power transit for the coil pack check good and then i replace the ecu car run on all 4 and then today went to take it for the inspection and start good and went to take off slow and easy car start running on 1 and 4 again. i have replace the engine harness last year because my was hack. so i dont know what is wrong my timing is dead on my compression is great what can it be:banghead:

sorry the transistor pack is good i test that and the compression i have 180 across all cylinders. the spark plugs are new signs of misfire. and all of them spark also the wires are good. i replace the ecu tuesday and the car ran fine i park it and started it today and it ran fine for 2mins and then it ran on 2 cylinders again. the coil pack test good. on my scanner pop up all sensor on the car is no good but i test them and they are all good. i have found green stuff form around this on clip in my car that goes to my interior harness and i see it missing two pins. i post pic of all this tomarrow

Fuel.. Check your Injectors. If its what i am thinking it might be i just ran in2 the same problem. #1 Pull the injectors out and see if the little black plastic nipple in the bottom is cracked at all. #2 If there are no cracks put them back in the fuel rail and lay them on a piece of card board. Turn the key over for about 2-3 sec. and check for spray patterns on the card board. Bad spray pattern=Bad injector

i got fuel in all cylinders no fire. my scanner pop up 24 codes and they are all sensors. egt valve, tps sensor cas sensor maf sensor, o2 sensor, coil pack, transistor pack, emission. i replace the ecu and it ran fine and show everything normal and then it came back.

i clean them and then all pop back on after 10 second when car is running and data is reading when car is not running and the hole engine harness is unplug from under the hood i have found some broke wires by the ecu and 3 thick grounds on the passenger firewall one is disconnect im goin wire everything back up tomarrow and see if anything has change

Raydsm, the common link and often overlooked item ( myself included) is always grounds. Grounds are common for all sensor operations, Poor grounds will cause high resistance and throw all sorts of codes permit incorrect commands. That being said I have a simular issue cylinder 2 & 3 cyl missing. Very interested in your results as well as I will be checking my grounds tommarrow.

okay i got everything wire up and now it ran on 4 cylinders then back to two again i check timing cas and plugs and wires got fuel so i check my ecu d07 document code and e08 document. now i know e8 is all clear and i check all chip and cap on my ecu they all read. the only thing i can think of is the transistor pack is sorting out or it something else i got my ground wires fix and test light reads both side of the wires and on the firewall

My old 420a did the same thing kinda. It would run on two cylinders intermittently. Turns out I had a spark plug wire that was cracked just enough to short out. Also I agree that u could have a corroded or loose ground somewhere. That's very important to your coil packs ability to conduct enough electricity to make spark

i found corrod wires clip and replace the pins and had one ground that was broke but i like when i put the new ecu in it ran great like it should then it back on to 2 cylinders. i pull the spark plug wires 2 and 3 at the pack and they arent sparkin at all but if i get a transistor pack and it still dont work i have no choice but to sell/part/junk the car

okay got the transistor pack today raining so i got it in the car running on all 4 but only let it run for 10 seconds hope this is all that was wrong with it.
