Hey guys, I was wanting to know if I run a straight exhaust, can I later put a 3" cat on it and make the check engine light go off? I want mine to stay off, but I got a real good deal on a straight exhaust....

If the 3" cat is made for your specific car then it should have a spot for the 2nd 02 sensor.

Their is ways to ground out the 2nd 02 sensor and make the light not come on as well, if you dont want to run a cat at all.

I installed a thermal catback, bushur test pipe and down pipe, and did not throw a cell code.
