running Holset w/ its internal gate ?

as title says, has anyone run holset turbo with its internal wastegate ? iirc they are 20 psi and is it really difficult to properly control +10 more psi ?

A dime-sized wastegate hole which draws from only one runner....and some guys can't control boost with a 38mm external gate.

I forgot about the HY35....it has a more "normal"-sized internal gate being a single-scroll turbo.

It's the same size gate as a HX35 and HE341/351. The HX's internal gate would be just fine on a single scroll manifold. The small size of a holset internal gate puts a lower limit of about 20psi on it. It will go lower, but creep to 20psi at redline.

I also had great luck with my HE351 on the internal gate. I was going to post a how-to tech, but with all the dick beaters around that think they know more, I figured why waste my time.
