Runnin Rich Sign of Boost Leak?

It means you have a leak most likely after the MAS, but before the IM, are you recirculating your BOV? Dont just lean it out, there is a reason why it is running rich, you just have to find it. Do a boost leak test, if you here an air escaping, fix it so the air doesnt escape, then see how your A/F ratio is.

Nice catch Keith, yes I was thinking between the turbo, and the TB. Sorry about the mix up, had a brain fart.

If there is a leak between the mas and turbo(stock mas location), it will cause a lean condition. If there is a leak between the turbo and throttle body, it will cause a rich condition.

Sorry to Hi-jack, but just want to clear some things up so I understand. I get the running rich between turbo and TB because ecu reads air coming in and if it escapes, ecu still thinks same air and sends compensate fuel thus making rich. But if the leak is between the mas and turbo wouldn't the same apply. Because the mas reads the air then it escapes so less air is being compressed by turbo, shouldn't this make the same scenario thus making it run rich again?

With a leak between the turbo and throttle body, metered, pressurized air is escaping which in turn causes a rich condition.

If the leak is in the intake pipe between the mas and turbo, it will draw in unmetered air and create a lean condition. Air in the intake pipe is not pressurized so there would be no metered air escaping. The turbo actually creates a vacuum in the intake pipe, hence drawing in unmetered air.
