rpm's randomly fall

well every once in a while when i drive i get the rpms up to about 5000 and hit about 16 psi let off the accelerator and the rpms fall to 0 then comes right back to where its supposed to. any suggestions?

Do you have any fuel mods? And what are you tuning with?
Do you vent the blow off valve?

might want to check your ISC. When mine was going bad that would happened every now and then.

sounds like the bov is not recirculating

its really hard to say what the problem could be considering i dont know any of the modifications that you have on your car it could be something as simple as a wire shorting out somewhere.

maybe check the ecu see if the caps are leaking.

It could really be anything a bov(unlikely), short, bad ecu caps, fast idle valve, IAC. I would start at the least expensive thing and check your connections and look for any bad or worn wires.
