ok im looking for some drilled or slotted rotors for my 98 gs-t

i dont drag race or anything, and most of my driving is done on country roads so im looking for something that is fairly cheap but have decent performance, but arent garbage.
any suggestions?

If you're not drag racing at the track, just get some slotted rotors. Drilled rotors have a shorter lifespan since they tend to crack more easily. Check with STM, MAP, or extremepsi.

Are doing it for looks? If you just daily drive why not go with good ole OEM. Get some new pads if you need a little moor "ooomph" from your brakes.

the problem about daily driving on rotors designed for high performance applications is that you generally won't create enough heat to let the brakes get to operating temperatures. this causes parts to wear quickly. if you're warping rotors and losing pedal feel then start with better pads and maybe some slotted rotors. just remember, when it comes to stopping faster, tires help cut braking distance more than better brakes. the point to upgrading brake systems is not to stop faster, but to have brakes that can put up with the heat involved with racing and high speeds.

i recently went down to autozone and bought some ceramic duralast pads and was wondering if i could use those with the race concept rotors

Never buy autozone brakes, those things are crap. My buddy bought some and they cracked and wore out in like 10k-15k miles with normal driving. That's not even the 1st horror story I heard about them. Remember you get what you pay for, buy a good quality set of ceramic brakes.

I'm running drilled/slotted rotors from R1 Concepts and i love them. I wish i gotten just the slotted rotors because people say that drilled will crack, but that's usually under racing conditions. But i had mine for over a year and still no cracks...(and no grooving like autozone crap rotors do after a few months)

Wow, that's actually not a bad deal...and they even give you a lot more options to choose from than R1 did.
