Rota wheels(rims) straight off his GSX!

I picked up a sexy set of silver Rota's from a really cool guy I met named Jojo. I was told they were Rota G Force wheels but after hours of searching they are not. I don't know what they are exactly... I know they are so sexy and they came with brand new tires... paid 300 cash! Straight off his GSX!

They bolted right on with no issues.

Alittle advice though.

ALWAYS bolt on wheels using the "Star pattern method"
ALWAYS tourqe the wheels to spec, then check them.
NEVER roadtest the wheels after installation without brining the following equipment : scissor jack or equavilant, lug wrench with proper keys, flashlight, spare tire, and a buddy.
Tapping or other foreign noises from the wheel areas or rough handling means STOP AND CHECK.

Oh yessir! Let's the say the government owe me a sum of money, I'm doing a yard sale. I'm selling my oem used set of rim and tire for a pretty penny to a dsm fan and I'm gonna have a budget of 1500 for a full paint job. I just need to decide on a electric blue or kalapana black

Those look like oz wheels to me. Were they ever painted?

If that is true, that means they are not going to last long at all on Hawaii's roads.

Doubt anyone would sell OZ's for that cheap.

They are made by EMR, which is an European "replica" company. They are quite popular in the Subaru crowd it seems. A.K.A. They are knock-offs from a company that resides in some country that doesn't enforce copyright and trademark laws and sold for cheap to those people who cannot afford the price tag on the rare Superturismo wheels by OZ.

Alright then. I definatly need to confirm what wheels these actually are. I cant go around saying that they are Rota's based off of Jojo's word. Who knows where he got them from. on the back of the wheel they say ROTA, which is what lead me to beleive what Jojo said.

If they are replica's that is fine, but I have to be aware that they will not hold up to the same abuse that the actualy QA/QC
d Brand name company product does.

My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't even concern myself with what company actually produced them since you already know they aren't authentic forged wheels.

Rota's may be knock offs, but my boost's have been great for the last 5 years...

It is annoying not know what these rims actually are. There is a car show coming up on Nov 5. I've never entered into a car show before, I'm almost certain they will want a list of what I got on my car.

All rims have 15 spokes. I counted them.

They look amazing with brand new tires for 300 bucks.

Its just kind of depressing not knowing. But what everyone else doesnt know wont hurt em

He meant the OZ wheels that were compared to your wheels have 16 spokes rather than 15.

I don't think they look as close to Oz wheels as some of you may think, but then again my eyesight isn't what it used to be
