I presently use the Cobra PBR, copy of Baer kit on my car and using cheap 13", 29$ a pair rotors with extreme friction Porterfield R4-E pads.

They lasted 3 month so that's not bad. The braking power with those is incredible.

Any other info on other brands of racing pads like Hawk blue or Carbotech XP.
I want to try something different on the road course.
I manage a 60-0 of 103 feet with the Porterfield, not bad :)

Any comparable options? thanks

I run Hawk blacks on the front for the track. They will be very aggressive with quite a bit of rotor wear. Your rotors are inexpensive, so I guess that's a plus.

I run Cool Carbons, on the rear. I picked them up, a few years back, from someone who quit racing . They're not made any longer under that name.

Tom :)

Yes I though about running blacks but the max temp. was about 900F and I didn't know if that was enough. You have a full race car so how it is after 20-30 min sessions?

Just ordered a front set of Carbotech Panther +, about the same as the blue's. Good reviews and a bit more street friendly for a 1250F+ pad.

I'll let you know after me firt session on track next week.

The rotors are so inexpensive it is not a problem to use extreme pads :)
