Well, I got my turboback just now and I checked it out. When I looked at the muffler, it looks like the one in the picture on their website, like the n1 style, when I ordered the magnaflow type. Or does the magnaflow look like the n1. I can see through the muffler to the piping. Has this happened to anybody else and how did you get it fixed? Thanks.

That is how performance mufflers are for our cars. Just a straight through design with hundreds of little holes cut in the inside to make a unique noise. If won't look like a traditional muffler. I would call RNR about the muffler though. N1 and Magnaflow look very different. Magnaflow if more oval shapped where as N1 is a cylinder. Call them and make sure they got your order right.

Well, e-mailed them and got a quick reply. Ryan said that the oval muffler won't fit their jig, so I would assume that they only have the bullet muffler type that would fit.

Yea they are getting better recently about replying fast and answering questions. Not as fast as Slowboy though but still nice. I guess you are stuck with that muffler than unless you get it taken off and another one welded on but I would just keep it for now.

That kinda scares me because I ordered RNR Turboback exhaust and I too asked for the Magnaflow and it cost me $80 more. Did it cost you more? Also, do you think it matters what kind of app. it was for and everything? I got the 3" SS Turboback for my AWD 1g Talon.

Yeah, it cost me 80 bucks more. I'm not sure about muffler options on the 1gs though because their jig is different from us 2gs.

I talked to Ryan, he said that I did get a magnaflow muffler but it was round not oval. It's actually the muffler that they usually use for the 3 inch Evo exhaust systems but he said it was compatible with my system. I guess I'll have to see when it gets here.
