Ok when i bought the car the guy i bought it off of said he rebuilt the motor and it only had around twenty thousand on it (last august). It now goes through a quart of oil a week(burnsand i just put on a 16g so i know its not the turbo and only leaks a few drops.I did a compression check about a month ago and the test read
-102 102 99 102- which i think is really low according to the manual. But the car runs fine except an occasional loss of power but then regains it. when i take off my intake there is a drop of oil on the intake of the turbo for some reason(i thought somene said that that will help u be able to tell if it is valves or rings). Did this guy lie to me that sold me the car or is it the head?

Could be either, get the car warmed up to operating temps and then shut it off, do another compression test, but this time put a cap full of oil in each cylinder through the spark plug hole, whats you results? If theyre dramatically better then its you rings if not its the seals
