When im driving in town and if I shift into 5th gear say around 35mph, the car runs real rich and bogs down when i give it gas. Car is fully built and tuned on E85. Ops didnt realize i said rich idle. Can the monitor change the title to rich driving conditions.

My driving??? I know its not the motor it was just built 2 weeks ago. Only reason i noticed this was cause i decided to put car in 5th gear because of a vibration im getting which i figured out what it was. I didnt think the car would bog down and run real rich in 5th and low speed.

If you want any amount of help your going to need to at least update your profile modifications sheet, we can't guess whats been done to your DSM. I'd like to take a shot in the dark here and say your running a stock 1g or 2g MAF and not recirculating your bov.

:dsm:

I have 9.5:1 je srp pistons, 1g big rods with arp bolts, mls head gasket with arp bolts, titanium valve springs, 3 angle valve job, #609 maf, 1g bov crushed and is recirculating, short route fmic, T3/T4 ported cast iron exhaust manifold, sheet metal intake, precision sc44 turbo, tial 35mm waste gate, stage 3 trans, stage 3 spec clutch, 4 bolt rear end, eprom ecu with tune made from ostrich, 1250cc fic blue max injectors, walbro 255 pump.

Car is tuned on E85, and was vacuum and pressure tested at 30psi with no leaks.

Car is NOT street tuned, just has a base tune. Regular driving conditions are 14.5-15.0 a/f

I havent been able to really get on it, engine just got built 2 weeks ago. Iv boosted it to about 9-10 pounds and a/f numbers were at 11.9-12.4.

I'm going to go ahead and chalk this up to trying to go WOT in 5th at 1800 RPMs. That's just not how manual cars work and you're WAY outside your powerband.

Base tune meening stock 2.0 tune or just idle tune I'm just taking a shot in the dark kinda due to the info given is just that your high load tune is off around those rpms also guessing you are running tunner pro

The guy that did it for me used ostrich. I basically gave him my mods and he made the tune for me. Its never been street tuned. If tunerpro is ostrich or a forum of it then yes. Iv owned all manual cars, but nothing this heavily modified. I dont ever recall in my other cars that it would just bog down like that. It being awd theres more of a load then if it were fwd?

Does it just sound like the tune is off? I dont ever drive around town in 5th. I just did it to figure out a vibration that i getting in the car. The haynes repair manual told me to do this.

If you need more information just ask and ill try and answer them.

Ok thanks. Just curious if you think the tune is off. Like i stated when i put it in 5th gear and gave it gas the wideband read pretty rich like 9.9-10 rite away and it bog down.

Yes, because you're nowhere near your powerband and you're in 5th gear..
