I have one more question, I dont know if its normal but when I am driving my car and I am say any gear and I pop it out to neutral my rpms drop to two thousand and stay there till i come to a complete stop then they drop to a little over 1. Also when I rev my car say up to 5 thousand, the revs drop fast but they seem to get stuck close to 2 thousand and then then drop a little over 1. Also when I try to maintain the revolutions to a constant level say to 2 thousand they wont stay at a constant rev they will keep going up even if i try to keep them leveled. so any idea.

Mine does the same thing. I find when I am on the brake at a complete stop, my oil pressure and RPM finally drop to the correct numbers (25psi OP and 800-1k on the tach).

I'm just going to throw on another TPS I have and see what happens. Cleaning the IAC wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Correct me if I am wrong
TPS = Throttle Position Sensor
IAC= Idle Speed Controller
TB = Throttle Body
If I am right how would I clean these parts?

The TB and IAC can be cleaned with carb cleaner and a rag. A small soft bristled tooth brush if you need to.

Almost LOL. except Speed doesnt start with an A :p

IAC = Idle Air Controller

What Spray do you guys best recommend for cleaning the TB and IAC TPS a brand in particular?

Any cheap-o brand carb cleaner will work plenty fine for cleaning the IAC and TB. I use whatever is cheapest at the time I go to purchase. Don't get carb cleaner on the TPS, you can damage it. You shouldn't really need to clean the TPS, but if you just have to spray something on it, (as it seems you are intent on doing) use an electrical contact cleaner.

ok thanks I will go buy that today and see if anything changes.

Well i cleaned the the TB with carb cleaner and it still does the same thing any ideas

Test that the voltage outputted by the TPS is near 0.4V closed, and 3.8V at WOT.

After all the things I did to try to fix that problem it was not the TB or the IAC it was a LOOSE VACUUM LINE :beatentodeath: but thanks at least i cleaned the tb and all that

Well, you got it figured out. And cleaning your TB and all that can only help. :) Glad you got it sorted out.

Did you ever get that figured out? Mine did the same thing yesterday during a thunderstorm. (But not today. Odd.) I'm about to go look at mine when I get the energy to pry myself out of this chair, and was curious if you discovered anything that I may overlook. (outside of the obvious)

edit: heh. My TPS tested great, no vacuum leaks that I could find. But I did notice by TB (and probably IAC) is gummed up again.
