Review - Apex'i N1 Catback Exhaust

I didn't see a review for the Apex'i N1, so here it is. I bought mine from extremepsi.com, got here in 4 days! :) The sound is loud and throaty, doesn't sound like one of those farting exhaust systems.

The exhaust comes with an adapter to bolt on to the stock cat, a silencer, written instructions, and a warning sheet with Dos and Don'ts. All the hangers matched, it was a perfect bolt on.

I read a thread on here about a fellow member having issues with rust on one of the flanges. Since I didn't want to deal with rust, I sprayed 2 coats of barbeque paint on the entire piping before installing it. The paint smelled like crap for a few days, but it went away after a week.

If you need a cat, RRE (www.roadraceengineering.com) makes downpipes and cats that bolt on to the Apex'i exhaust.

The GT catback is the same size and dimensions as the N1, but it has stainless steel pipes on it. If you are really worried about rust, spend the extra money and get the Apex'i GT catback.

PM me if you have any questions.
