I had this problem.. i think its your reverse light switch, and if you have had body work done or been in an accident, there is a plug in the back under the bumper that needs to be plugged in. Im not saying that it is either one of those, but i had mine mess up twice on my n/t and those were the problems that caused it.

nope mine was never crashed nor has it had body work done to it. so look underneath the back bumper and look for what?

wait so all it is, is wires that got unplugged from one another? and the one by the transmission is that one right on the side of the transmission or what?

I did a search and came across this thread. I have the exact same problem in my 1992 TsiAWD. I have checked the bulbs, they are both okay. I looked for this connection under the bumper and my 92 must be different, no connection. I've torn apart the center console under the shifter and I did not see any wires except those going to an illumination light. She is an automatic. Please help

(in my sig is my other Talon, the 92 is the problem child :| )
