Reverse gear brake/syncro

I've searched the site (as best I could) but could not find any info on this... I have a rattle coming from the gearbox and I was told it was probably the reverse gear and fixing it would be rather easy... any one have any info on a 'how to' or any write ups on the procedure?

the gears pictured are not the reverse gear. that is your fifth intermediate gear and fifth gear synchro assembly. reverse is a straight cut gear so it is synchroless. follow this write up to get to your reverse gear.

Could you describe the noise in more depth? It could be the input shaft bearing, or the throw out bearing. Both of those make a rattle like noise.
