3rd Gear Syncro

Im not getting this done soon but I just wanted to know about How much it would cost. The guy I go to works pretty cheap and he knows like everything. He cleaned and gapped my spark plugs, gave me new spark plug wire(the real problem),new fuel filter,put in some missing bolts including a engine mount bolt,cleaned my injectors,put in my walbro 190 and some other little minor things. That only costs 180. But anywyas I want a price on how much a new syncro might cost from a mechanic who people would normally go to so I can see how much I would save, becasue if it isnt too much I can do it sooner from them.

That I wouldn't know, but if you know what you are doing Im sure it would go by quickly, if you dont then it would take for ever and you would probably do more harm then good, by the synchro, and send the tranny to a local shop and have them put it in, and if TRE can pull a tranny apart and reassemble it as well as go through the whole thing and fix what needs fixing in 1-2 weeks, Im sure it is about a 5 hour job by someone who knows what they are doing.
