Well, after bending valves and replacing the head I was wondering how am I supposed to set the ignition timing. First, it bogged and wouldn't start, so I flipped the CAS 180*. Then it started right up, went to 3k and then shut off. I do not want to start it again because I do not want it to jump and slap valves again. It has a new timing belt with BSE and a new auto tensioner. How can I set the ignition timing because vfaq says the engine must be at operating temperature. When I installed the CAS I put it so it was neither advanced or retarded. Pretty much in the middle of the adjustment rail, if that's what I should call it.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
