I got my rebuilt head back a few days ago and am in the process of putting everything back together. The shop told me to bleed the lifters of oil so they are not under pressure. He told me to put them in a vise and turn it slowly until they lose pressure and oil. I just wanted to make sure that this was the right thing to do or are there any other procedures besides this? I don't want to screw up my rebuilt head because of something like this.
