Returning 91 Talon fixed headlight conversion to factory

I am looking at buying a 91 Talon Tsi and one of the previous owners put a HID conversion into the center lights to use as headlights instead of the popup lights. I am not a fan of this and would want to return this back to factory and use the popup lights. My question is has anyone seen this done before and how hard would it be to return it back to factory? This is something i need to figure out before i decide to buy the car or not.

Need pics of the area around the headlight assembly, to see what exactly was done.

Words cannot describe this atrocity, all I can say is that Uncle Ben would be proud. However, in my opinion (please correct me if I'm wrong...) is if you were to buy this car, I would consider purchasing the housings that go inside the pop ups and buy new headlights for them while you're at it. That would involve rewiring the headlights it looks like (seeing the pic) but that's up to you

yeah it is quite horrific. The guy said he has the housing and bracket for it and said all the original wiring is still there, except they don't pop up unless manually cranked.

just hoping its not something thats gonna be a nightmare to fix.

There's a good chance everything about that is going to be a nightmare! That looks ridiculous and whoever did it needs there hands zip tied together so they can't jack anything else up although if you do buy it and need headlight buckets and motors let me know, I'll hook you up with some old take off parts that's taking up space.

All you'd need are replacements for the pop ups and you should be golden.

Ok thanks, I'm deciding if the car is worth buying as it definitely needs some work but if I do buy it in the next day or two I'll let ya know cause I'll need all the parts most likely to get it fixed

Yea....might be a better idea to wait. It's hard to say but you just never know, it may be a while until you can find the right one or maybe not. Who knows....
