I already did a few searches and couldn't find the answer. I have a 1.5 year old act 2600 pressure plate. I've looked at the pp and don't see any heat spots, glazing, or obvious problem signs. There is a little wear where the throw out bearing touches which would be cleaned up if resurfaced. I was just wondering how many people actually resurface their pressure plate, or what reasons would keep from it being resurfaced and reused.
Thanks

If nothing is wrong with it grooving wise or deep marks then you can resurface it but only take as much off as you need. No more. A couple thousanths of an inch should be enough to get it looking new and won't effect it at all. I have seen people turn them before and they work just as well as they did before.
