Recently I have been having problems with my car running after i have been driving it around. The engine light keeps coming on for the Tdc sensor and when i start it, it will start, then bog down and die. Do i have to replace my CAS. After it has been sitting it will run fine until it gets hot:confused:

Well i took my ecu out and took some pics
These dont look like stock capacitors right?

And whats up with that chip in this picture?

Time to get those replaced.

Wrong. Those have been replaced.

You do have a blown ISC driver (IC105) and that may mean you still have a bad ISC or it was bad and was replaced but the ECU wasn't fixed.

That could be the cause of the stalling.

No clues here as to the TPS CEL.

So will the isc driver give me problems if my isc is blocked off.
Steve would you know if anything else could cause a TDC error besides the cas being bad?

Usually not, if your ISC is blocked off then your not using it but sometime the internal damage to the driver causes the ECU to shutdown. Not having an ISC means the only idle control you have is the BISS.

I can't see the whole ECU so there are other possibilities inside it as well as the wiring and CAS itself.
