[RESOLVED] Where can I buy exhaust flex tube????

I just put on my new manifold along with my turbo, I now need to redo my dump tube. I'm going to use flex pipe this time, but I don't know where I can buy this in a store. I bought a short piece (a little under 2 feet) just to get by, but I need about 4 feet. Does anyone know where I can get flex tubing in a store???

I've seen flex tubing in the advance auto parts store. Try your local auto parts store.

I bought the flex tubing at Autozone. They only sold it as a repair kit and it came in like 1 1/2 foot lenghts... Did you see it in long lengths?

I used some years ago on my Chrysler. I bought a length close to 2 feet. I don't know how small in diameter they have but you can try them out. The only sizes I've ever seen in really long lengths were more than 2 inches, inside diameter. Also try Napa. If you can't find any locally, you'll have to order some. JC whitney has a lot of different sizes but the shortest length they sell is 5ft.

yeah i would say J.C. whitney thats where im getting the tube for my O2 dump it beats the hell out of the Jayracing prices im more a home brew guy tho

Your not going to find flex tubing in long lengths. Its used as a short flex on downpipes so no on sells long sections. You should try calling a manufacture to get it made.

You're thinking of the wrong thing.. I'm not talking about the flex section on a down pipe...

Or try JEGS.. They sale a lot of performance parts and exhaust cutouts and bends.. My opinion would be to have your local muffler shop make you a dump tube with thier bender and weld it in the exhaust so it is not ungodly loud..

I was very happy with the tube going out the bumper, but my new manifold puts the wastegate at a different angle and I need to redo the tube. Last time I had a hardpipe for it, but this time I'm using flex pipe. The hard pipe was putting too much stress on the wastegate mount..

J.C. Whitney looks great, I'll definitely buy from them in the future.. they have a lot of good stuff. However, they were going to take a week or more to get this item to me. I wound up buying some from Jay Racing, they're in Ohio which isn't too far from me and they're going to ship it out fast.

you should be able to go to and advance auto parts stores. i work at one in new york and we carry them. they are not vehicle specific all you need to know is the size of your exhaust piping.

He is, I've never dealt with them before... He answers emails VERY fast (which almost no one does and pisses me off) and he is very eager to help and ship things out fast. I would definitely buy from him again...
