Is running on three cylinders worst than running on fried rings?.. just wondering because I'm smoking white smoke from my exhaust and my spark plug 2 was soaked of oil...thanks in advance

id say running your car while you KNOW something is not right is a problem.. If you can get away with not driving it till you figure out the problem and get it fixed, that would probably be the safest thing to do. Not only for your car, but for your wallet as well.:cool:

Yea i totally agree. The minute i knew my piston rings were shot, i parked the car up and i slowly rebuilt the motor, although granted i had a truck to use while i rebuilt my motor. But like stated above if you can get away with not driving it at all then just park it up and gather as much info and do as much tests as you can to figure out what direction to go. Running on three cylinders OR having bad rings is never good for a motor. Good luck to you.

i also agree with everyone you need to take it to someone to get the real word on what is the problem and stop driving your car till you do cause you are just going to destroy your car
