[RESOLVED] was driving then it shut off. no spark

ok i searched. but just did the timing it was off about 2 teeth on the exhaust cam. redid the timing and the motor purs. im out driving around going down the highway all of a sudden the tach goes to zero and the car stalls. im gettin fuel the timing is perfect i changed the plugs. i tested by the spark plug and no spark. i put a test light onto the power wire going to the coil harness plug and im gettin power there.,, any ideas anybody?

If the power wire for the coil pack is seeing 12v's and you are not getting spark, try replacing the coil pack. Could also be a bad crank sensor if you have a 2g 7 bolt. But my first guess is the Coil pack.

and the c/e light was not on. i just pluged it in now also to see if any codes and theres nothing.

i guess ill have to try replaceing the coil packs tomorrow hopefully that does it. yes the connector at the coil is receiveing 12v also

hahaha welll everybody can have a laugh now. the power transistor was dissconnector the clip is broken on it. so i fixed it with a wiretie! A -ok hahah. thnx for the help!
