Slow boy says not for Transmission. Basically, thats the only place I have heard say it.

Why can't we use this fluid go into a DSM transmission?

DSMs do not have LSDs. They have viscous couplers, which limit differential slip effect. They're sealed units, and will not be affected by outside lubricants in the way conventional LSDs are.
