What's that other gizmo in the picture? The one that's screwed down and behind the bubble site glass?

Hmmm...Looks like yours might have come out more blue than mine. Unless that 3rd picture is from when you first turned them on?

They look great! :thumb:

After having these for a few weeks, I can't ever imagine going back to halogens. Evar. You?! :D

I think I might have to. Passenger side bulb blew out I think. :|
Not sure yet, I will have to check tomorrow during my free time but I briefly checked the connections and everything seems to be connected well. I'm going to have to contact Sharp HID.

So after a few months of having them I'm already at my first issue. The driver's side is now a lot dimmer than the passenger's. Don't get me wrong, it's still brighter than what my Silverstars were but still. Why did it get dimmer? And why so soon?

The best picture I could get of it:

Not to thread jack anyone, but I have the issue of both lights not turning on at the sametime.Meaning sometimes the driverside will turn on or sometimes its the passenger side, then sometimes its both. But also on a side note my battery has been given some troubles so maybe its just inadequite power on startup for both ballasts

I can see it the difference. I would check the wiring first and then contact John to see what he can do for you.

Thank you blcknspo0ln. I contacted John and he's helping right now on the matter. I didn't even have to swap them to realize it's a bulb problem. Pics below:

Driver's Side:

i dont want to thread jack either sry, but real quick can you guys that installed these tell me if you took off your front bumper and removed your headlights to install them or did you just try and install them with everything in the way??

Well I was doing a retrofit so my bumper was already off but I wouldnt see the need to take of the bumber hence the name plugNplay. Also youre going to need to cut a hole in the cap to feed the wires through and have a rubber grommet of some kind to keep the elements out. But the only connection I can see being the worst is the bottom connection under the headlight. There is a small right-up for a 2g on sharphid.com under instructions I believe also.

I didn't have to. And no, don't worry your not thread jacking. :) This thread is here to help anyone and their problems. Back to the subject at hand. Yes, it is a pain in the butt on the drivers side because of all the power-steering and A/C crap but it's manageable. Don't be afraid to put some muscle into moving that one big line going to the power-steering pump. Just do your best not to touch the bulb with your fingers. The SharpHID kit comes with the grommet phurt83 talks of, so no worries there. Hope this helps!

Edit: Sorry just realized your N/T so I guess it's the opposite way. The passenger side is gonna be the pain in the butt side for you. :D
