I believe I installed these right and I've tried everything I can think of and they won't come on!!! Please someone help!

This is how I have it installed:

And this one I had going to the factory harness in the headlight assembly:

Please someone help me shed some "light" on this and thank you for your time.

Yes, I did. Checked the fuses as well. I also just installed the Silverstars back in and they worked, just to rule out that the headlight harness was messed up, and it isn't.

:dsm:

I will try that. I think I tried that buuuut maybe I didn't. Thank you. I will try each plug but if you could possibly tell me which one I would appreciate that.

:dsm:

I installed mine with the battery wiring harness and didn't have a polarity issue. You wiring appears to be correct. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I did read in the thread in the vendor section that someone else had a polarity issue.

The 35w 6000k (9006 bulb).

When you first turn them on you here a loud high pitch buzzing but it only lasts about 5 seconds and goes away as they warm up. Something I would like to point out.

Pictures as promised but it's still raining as you'll see.

On start up:

I'll have to get better shots, hopefully tomorrow.

How much were they?

The reverse polarity issue is the norm, it's not just an issue with the kits from SharpHID, its just an issue with our factory wiring having the wrong polarity (some other vehicles have this issue as well, as polarity doesn't matter for the factory halogen headlights). Like has been said, the polarity just needs to be reversed. The sockets that come with this kit are directional (atleast mine were), so they don't fit properly (lock) if you just try to plug the socket in backwards. The best best it to cut, solder & heatshink the wires, when I did mine, I did it at the wire harness that attaches to the factory connector. This way the modified portion is kept sealed under the headlight caps.

IIRC SharpHID actually has this issue posted on their site, under a help section.

I wish I had searched their site before I posted this but o well, it will at least help for future reference. The one I had flipped you can see in the second picture, in the very middle of the picture, on my first post. Also the third picture that is blurry is the connector I flipped.

:dsm:

Also your ballast will buzz for the first 5 seconds or so. Happens on pretty much any aftermarket and some factory HID ballast.

Well I'm trying to install my own kit now but I have the same damn problem of them not turning on. I'm curious though, your kit looks different than mine yet we have the same ones. For instance the plug going to the OEM harness and ballast on mine is blue. Also, I don't have that warning sticker on the ballast. It's just stamped with Apexcone. I tried swapping them but it still doesn't work either. I'm going to switch back to Sylvania's tomorrow to see if it's an electrical issue since I kind of tore apart the interior to install my wideband.

Well what I did was I flipped the connector. Pretty much making it plug in upside down but that's what you have to do to get it to work. The connector I speak of is on my first post up top, the 3rd picture that's blurry.

I'm curious as to what yours looks like? Can you post some pictures?

:dsm:

Sylvania's went in and they light up. That harness from the ballast to the OEM plug, there's no way I can switch it around. One side is a female the other is a male. I don't know if this is a design change or what but it just won't work. The ballast is a female and the OEM is a male.

*edit* Nevermind, I feel like an idiot for not fully reading the whole polarity issue. It finally clicked in when I saw a wall socket. Sucks though cause now my OEM plug is split down the middle.
