Hey guys, I'm having some boost creep issues with my T-25, so I've decided to go ahead and port turbine housing inlet along with my 2g O2 housing. I'm in the midst of removing the turbo. Actually, I'm just about done. The only thing I have left is to remove the oil feed line and I'm having trouble disconnecting it. I've been trying to disconnect the line from under the turbo, but I just can't seem to get the bolt/male-fitting that connects the upper and lower lines apart. In case your not sure what I mean, I took a picture of the oil feed line. Its the line with the wrench still attached. LOL

Is this the right place to disconnect the oil feed line? If it is, I'm having a hell of a time with it. That sucker is tough. Or maybe I'm trying to disconnect it at the wrong place entirely? Should I disconnect the oil feed line at the fitting on top of the turbo? (see below)

The vfaq says to disconnect it where the male-to-female fittings join to connect the upper and lower feed lines. Like I said, thats where I've been trying, but I've had no luck. Any and all help is appreciated.

You've got the right place on the right line. The old lines are frequently destroyed in the process of removing them. Finish breaking it and get a new one. A replacement flexible line will run all the way from the oil filter to the turbo.

its easier to disconnect it from the oil filter housing as you have more room to get to the fitting*unless you unbolt the manifold*, did you say you're having boost creep with your t-too small ? are you sure its boost creep?

I just cut the line there and at the oil filter housing. Then using a long socket unbolted the nut from the fitler housing. I then removed the entire line and installed a SS line.

Since you are going through all this work to port a T25 (which won't gain you much more power), why not upgrade to a 14B or 16G? For like $150 - $300 more?

I just snipped mine right before it connects to the turbo.

Just get yourself a new line. Than youll never have to worry about that crap again if you need to remove.

Yeah, that thing is tough. I just left the oil line attached and ended up breaking it off at the filter housing LOL. Hmm if you are taking it all off anyway time to upgrade man!

You really need to use flare wrenches on any kind of fitting line. There is a reason for their design and you are probably going to end up rounding them off in the end. I would just get it off at any of the 3 points and get a SS feed line to replace it with.

Too late, I already rounded it. :p

So I ended up taking a hacksaw to the oil feed line to get it disconnected. That did the trick and now the turbo and O2 housing are out. I'll just replace the feed line with a SS hose from ExtremePSI like you all suggested. Thanks for all the help guys!

You could have removed the water lines first and then disconnect the oil line on the turbo. With a proper use of a wrench/penetrating oil, the line could be removed without any pain. I own a 95GST and everything came off without a broken bolt or studs.
