I am coming from a background of mustangs and i know when you change the rear end oil you add a friction modifier. My question is do i need to do the same to my 1994 eclipse. i know that it has the LSD rear and im using redline 75w90 but do i need to add the friction modifier then like on my old 5.0 cars?

Thanks, Ben

The best thing to run is Redline Heavy ShockProof. This is what it looks like
Red Line Oil: Gear Lubricants

This is the stuff that Shepherd Racing recommended to run in our rear end. No mixing or other additives need! I currently run that both in my rear end and my transfer case. For use in transmission you are suppoed to mix it.

Our LSD is a sealed unit, therfore you can not change the LSD fluids. You can change the rear diff fluid though. Like they said before, redline heavy shockproof.
