I have the original radiator when I first bought the car (aluminum) It has a small crack on the bottom side of it, can I weld that shut or repair it!?

What tools would I need to get it done right!? Thanks :thumb:

Well I just did a quick google search on how to "weld aluminum" and there are a bunch of articles on how to do it, I was unsure if you could weld aluminum or not, but I'm guessing you can now. There are a bunch of how-to articles on how to weld aluminum if you search on google, I'm positive that you can just weld the hole shut and your radiator should be okay. If I'm wrong someone step in and say something. I do have to say that MAPerformance gave me a great deal on a Koyo radiator and it's awesome :p! Installed in about 20 minutes without any issues!

Yeah the thing is I don't want to keep buying radiators over times over, I wonder if a torch an some high grade solder would do!?

I wouldn't trust the solder to bond with the aluminum. Take it to a radiator shop and they will tell you if it can be fixed and give you a price.

The damage is minimal, so I think but let me see what are other options I have, thanks non the less!

Thanks, I bought a new one for around 140.00, yeah I'd could not repair
the old one.
