ok my car has 193K+ miles an now that Iam starting to modify the car I wanna replace the wires an plugs with somthing a little more aimed at what I plan on doing with the car. I wanna make it into a weekend track warrior. Now I know Ngks are the way to go on the plugs but what about the wires. Now I have seen that MSD's are the best then i have seen good/bad on magnacores an same with accels(sp?). Now Iam not sure if their is any new info on wire to get or what so I would like some help please.
My current Mods are K&N filter, a 3" DP, a MBC, and a electronic boost gauge. I also have boost leaks... Iam only pullin like 15-16 at an idle when the motor is warm an the boost spikes to 16ish an drops all the way to redline.. a freind is goin to a FMIC so Iam gettin his Supra sidemount and dejon tool pipes for a good price. If any of that was relavent

I've been running Accel wires from Extreme PSI for the past ~7 years on my car (a couple new sets in that time frame, but all Accel. No misfires currently at ~36 PSI, stock coils, BR8ES's and an ARC-2. Before the ARC-2 I'd only have misfires if the plugs were not fresh.

BR8ES's-NGKs? an what is a ARC-2? Thanks for the info sir

well hes running an arseload of boost so those 8es's are gonna be too cold for street boost levels. if youre like most ppl in the 15-25psi range bpr7es plugs gapped to 0.025-0.028 with some decent wires (i reccomend a thick 8mm or 10mm set of wires) should be enough to cover ignition.

you dont need an arc-2. your stock system will do just fine.
LOL giving 36psi advice to street modders. :)
